This is the place to bring me plot ideas/potential CR for your character(s) and Joel!

Some general info about Joel's life and habits in Haven, and some potential CR hooks:

- His number one priority, as long as she's present in the setting with him, is always, always keeping Sarah safe. Therefore anything directly affecting her or that could potentially put her in danger will probably involve him in some way as well!
- He has a very useful skill set for the setting, since he comes from a setting very much like it, in terms of having scarce resources, basically no infrastructure, survivalist mentality, etc. Feel free to hit him up for assistance along these lines (though how much help you actually get from him depends on how well he likes your character).
- He also worked for a number of years in the construction industry, so he can be counted on as an expert in things like whether an old building is still habitable or not.
- He varies his daily routine for the sake of safety, but he does regularly visit the well, and spends a lot of time scavenging around town for supplies. When other areas are available, Joel will be very willing to go to them on supply runs (i.e. Haven North).
- Always wears a broken watch on his left wrist. Feel free to remark on it; it is highly unlikely he'll explain.
- Sort of informally adopting a number of the children in Haven. He makes it his business to keep an eye on many of them, and will check in on them regularly. Drop me a line if you would like your kid to be one of these adoptees!
- If anyone needs a little torture-for-information done, Joel is your guy. He's done quite a bit of it in his day and he doesn't even flinch at the idea. Ask the NPC, Judy.
- On that note, anyone who wants to fight with him physically is free to do so. He's a badass normal, so he's highly unlikely to win a fight against someone with powers or magic, but he's an even match for other non-powered people, if not superior. Also keep in mind, he rarely fights for any reason except to kill, so he doesn't pull his punches.
- He doesn't like Yao and would never work with them, but he's less concerned about, say, bringing down the whole corporation than he is about simply getting himself and the people he cares about away from them. Basically he's not in it for your revolution, he just wants to survive.
